After the earthquake struck Christchurch, New Zealand.. something incredible happened out of all the tragedy.
The Youth of Canterbury invaded Christchurch.
It was set up after the first major quake in September of last year but has come into its own this week.
They number about 18,000.
Sam Johnson, student organiser from last year's earthquake recovery effort, says the students will be working closely with Civil Defence.
"At this very early stage we are focusing on helping everyday people in their homes in low risk areas with non-life threatening situations," he said.
They go out and shift the massive amount of silt that is in the suburbs, they do what is needed, they help people who are in desperate need of help.
Its been very inspiring to see the youth get together and help the community. Some people think that teenagers are a selfish bunch who just like to drink and get into trouble.
Well... some of that can be true but we don't give them enough credit... they are certainly putting paid to some of the sterotypes of the young.
They have their own facebook page:

They truly are a bunch of amazing kiwi's.
Thats my idea of a Just Invasion.
