With the developments in Wisconsin over the past month, I could not help but wonder what the national debate would be like if Ted Kennedy was still in the US Senate. I still get chills listening to his speech about increasing the minimum wage and Republican obstructionism.
Now is a good time to remember what a Democrat with a spine sounds like going after these GOP bastards:
This is what all elected Democrats should sound like. I am tired of sound political arguments having to come from John Stewart, Bill Maher, Michael Moore, or Rachel Maddow. They are all great, but we need ELECTED officials using those talking points and making those arguments. We need a leader like Teddy to come forward and speak the truth to power instead of elected officials playing power games. I miss Teddy. Who now will pick up that mantle? Anyone?
