The justification is always that someone, somewhere, might possibly be offended or feel uncomfortable living in the midst of a largely Christian society, so all must yield to the fragile sensibilities of the few. Social Security provides funds to feed, clothe, and helps provide a home for older Americans. Medicare looks after sick Americans. What part of America is a Christian nation does Ron and the GOP not get?

Not a Single GOPer running for President has read the bible. They all claim to want America to be Christian but whether its helping the poor or giving up all their goods to the poor Ron Paul, Gov Perry, Michelle Backman etc get blank Deer in head lights looks on their faces.
They claim the Constitution says this the Constitution does not say that but they forget the Declaration of Independence.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness God gave us these rights and we the Left believe that a government for the People by the People should work to secure these rights for the people.
Christians can look to the Bible and see that yes we are all our Brothers Keeper. We should look out for his/her welfare, life and happiness as long as their pursuit of those rights does not step on another’s rights to the same.
For Ron and the GOP corporations should have the freedom to pursue profits without any regard for any person’s rights to life, liberty and happiness.
It is no wonder then JC said a rich man has less chance of going to heaven than a camel has of going through the eye of a needle.
Just for the record JC did endorse an income tax which Ron and all the GOP claim is unConstitutional.

An income tax seems to be the form of taxation in place when JC was around when he said ” Give onto Caesar what is Caesar’s give onto God’s what is God’s.” I am sure Ron and all the GOPers running for President will do their best to ignore this diary just like they ignore the Declaration of Independence and only mention what is in the Constitution.
