Another delay but boy I wonder what the mood of that jury is going to be after the Arizona shooting...
I couldn't make this court date, from the HL:
"A pretrial conference for an ex-Rand Paul volunteer accused of stomping on a liberal activist has been rescheduled for a second time.
The Tuesday hearing for Tim Profitt was continued until Feb. 22 so The Fayette County Attorney's office could have more time to submit evidence to Profitt's defense attorney, First Assistant County Attorney Brian Mattone said.
"Assistant Fayette County Attorney Liz Bancroft told the Associated Press that the hearing was rescheduled to allow time for the alleged victim to provide video of the incident, which was videotaped by a television station and broadcast across the Internet after it occurred Oct. 25 in Lexington.
Profitt has pleaded not guilty to one count of fourth-degree assault in the scuffle, during which Lauren Valle, 23, an activist with MoveOn.org, allegedly was stepped on by Profitt after being pinned to the ground by another man.
The incident occurred outside the site of the final debate between Paul and Democratic opponent Jack Conway.
Mattone said all evidence should be received and submitted before the hearing on Feb. 22.
"We anticipate that there will be either a guilty plea or they will be ready to set for trial," he said."
This is really absurd. How Profitt thinks with all of the video evidence that he could possible be exonerated of this charge is beyond Tea Party lunacy.
I'm going to try my best to be in court on the 22nd. I can't imagine Profitt wants to drag this through an trial, but these people are operating on a level that defies logic to begin with.
For those of you who don't know, the Tea Party in Central Kentucky has actually set up a legal defense fund for this brown shirt:
Add injury to insult they're trying to pressure the Fayette County Attorney's office to prosecute of all people, Lauren Valle.
Let's review the evidence again:
