Tina Turner was on a show called COUNTDOWN in 1982.
She performed "Ball of Confusion" a song with a highly charged political message.
It was a song about racism, politics, loss, confusion and standing up for what is right.
She wasn't the first.

You might be asking "what's your point?"
My point... is simply that Olbermann was one voice that has spoken for many of us.
Maybe it's time for some of us to pick up the torch. The message hasn't died.
