Earlier today the House of Representatives passed George W. Bush's Free Trade Agreements with Panama, Colombia, and South Korea.
With strong support from the US Chamber of Commerce... and against opposition from those nasty labor unions, the Obama Administration has successfully passed a jobs bill.
Jobs for South Koreans that is, which cleared both houses of Congress and now only needs the Presidents signature... Panama, and Colombia have yet to be voted on in the U.S. Senate.

House passes Colombia free trade agreement, Senate to follow suit
Opposition to the Colombia agreement came mainly from Democrats arguing that, despite recent progress, Colombian labor organizers still face suppression and violence.

"I've seen first hand the negative effects that trade agreements have had on our manufacturing sector and this one is estimated to displace 159,000 jobs and increase our trade deficit with Korea by $16.7 billion," says Rep. Mark Critz, a Democrat from Pennsylvania.

Congress cleared legislation for U.S. free-trade agreements with South Korea, Colombia and Panama that lawmakers said will boost U.S. exports by about $13 billion. The measures now go to the president...
...The Senate voted 83-15 for the South Korea agreement, 77-22 on the Panama accord, and 66-33 on Colombia. The House voted 278-151 for the South Korea agreement, 300-129 for the Panama deal and 262-167 to pass legislation on the Colombia accord. The trade legislation now goes to Obama for his signature...
...Richard Trumka, president of the AFL-CIO, the nation’s largest federation of labor unions and a frequent Democratic ally, had urged lawmakers to oppose the Colombia deal.
