I'm a suburban gal, living in a country of cars. I support OWS, but I'm out in the Burbs. So: it's time to Occupy My Car!
Like the woman who "Occupied the Tundra" up in Alaska, I figure one point of OWS is that we 99% already occupy everywhere. And in America, that means many of us are in our cars.
The people camping out and demonstrating at OWS, Davis, and around the globe are doing it for all of us. And we can support them, fight the media reporting stranglehold, and Occupy Our Cars! It's quick, cheap, and hopefully very effective.
Follow me below the fold, won't you? We need all of you.
The idea is to write on your car windows, to be a rolling Occupy Pod. You can use soap, tape, removable glass paint or chalk. If you live in the suburbs like me, you see cars decorated like this all the time, usually with "Go Broncos!" or "Happy 16th Birthday Adrian!" and such.
It's still too dark here in California to go out and put my idea into practice. So meanwhile, I'm going to brainstorm slogans, then go out and Occupy My Car!
Won't you join me?
