Indiana politics is full of face-palming moments. But this might take the cake.
Our state has had to make some pretty tough cuts in order to stay in budget ... we have a law that our budget has to be balanced. Since 2009 we've cut aid to schools by over $300 million.

Bank error in our favor
The above link goes to a Courier & Press story about $288 million dollars that our illustrious governor didn't know we had. Apparently, if corporations were paying their taxes using e-checks, it was not going into the general fund.
"My man" Mitch thinks this is an amusing bit of good news. I wonder how the teachers feel?
No one has been fired for the error yet. Some state Democrats are crying foul play, but even if this is an innocent mistake it reeks of incompetence.
And he was one of the "serious" possible Republican presidential candidates!
