We broke records in Tucson today - it was 94 degrees! So of course we had to do a bit of running around in the afternoon heat, in our car with the broken A/C.
Ugh.
The best thing about running around in the heat was coming home and turning on the house air conditioner, then sitting back with a cold drink under the fan.
Ahhhh.
But we might be breaking records again tomorrow. Sigh.

From carolita:
slave138 asks an important question about Libya and Cartoon Peril comes through with the perfect answer -- to that and quite a few other questions in Edger's (NOT Edgar) important So Lemme Get This Straight diary. Valhalla sheds some critical and much-needed light on the impossibility of burning the Quran -- and adds a righteous rant about religious extremists.

My picks:
If you wanna hear some good music (and see some OLD videos), go on over to Lady Libertine's DFH Freaky Friday Music Hullabaloo. Lots of fun stuff and good memories in that diary and the comments.
