By now you know Testvet. He's written 629 diaries. He's made 19,436 comments. And he has shared his life story with you. But it's been 22 days since his last comment. Wednesday I called to see how he was doing. I talked with his wife. He's back in the hospital. It's his heart.
While he isn't able to write comments, he is able to read. He has access to a laptop or something.
Now you can sit around and lament all that testvet is going through, but it will only "pizz" him off. In your comments below, I hope you find the words and jokes that will make him "ROFLMAO". If you do, know that he would give you a "Salute!"
While he was recovering from his last heart attack, he wanted to write a diary for NetRoots for the Troops. We decided that I would write the diary and he would comment. I would call him to see what he wanted to say. His medications make it difficult to impossible to focus on anything. But one diary by Angelajean really got to him.
Here's why: You know that testvet's life turned around when married Dorri. Shortly after they got married, Testvet had a heart attack. Dorri did what so many Veterans wives had to do - she became a one-woman Army fighting the VA to get testvet the help he needed. Angelajean told us about another Veteran's wife, Vetwife doing the same thing.
If you have been following Vetwife, you know that banksters got their home. They had to move. Her husband's PTSD reared its' ugly head over all of this and he has been hospitalized. In the meantime, that move has cost them $3,300 that they don't have. As Angelajean swung into action, Vetwife's computer died. First things first. We raised enough money and bought the computer, and Kossacks are providing the additional software she needs. We have also raised about $1671 of the $3,300 she needs before the first.
Test Vet's Request
Don't spend your money on get well cards, or flowers, candy ROTF. But PLEASE, PLEASE take care of Vetwife. We need more like her what she does is really, really important and I can't think of a better medicine for me than getting this mission accomplished - and no phoney flight suit is needed!
I talked with texdem about the best way to help Vetwife. Because your donation is to help a military family, Make your doantion to Vetwife here will attempt to cover Vetwife's bills arising from her family's forced move to Gainesville, FL. We are only $1629 from our own "Mission Accomplished".
Make your doantion to Vetwife here
