Just received a robocall from Mike Huckabee about the "evil" and "unconstitutional Obamacare", and how it will "destroy the economy".
"Hello, this is Mike Huckabee, and I'm calling about Obamacare, which if not repealed will destroy our economy."
I didn't write it all down, but the gist of the call was that Obamacare is "evil" and will "destroy the economy" and "ruin the country". The call claims that "The Senate is only four votes away from overturning" the unconstitutional Obamacare, and refers to a petition.
Then came:
Press one to sign your name on this petition to Congress.
If you would like me to add your name on this petition to Congress to repeal Obamacare, please press one.
If you do not give your permission, press two.
(silence)
I pressed two, and the call ended.
Yes, there were really two mentions of pressing one to get on the petition. I would have preferred an option to "Take my name off your call list, and I had better not find out you added my or my husband's name anyway!"
1. I hate robocalls.
2. How in the hell did I end up on a call list for Mike friggin' Huckabee??? Nobody in this house votes Republican.
3. The call didn't ask for a specific person, so who knows who they expected to get the call.
I'm in Minnesota, and it came in on our land line.
