Today is the 4 month anniversary of Occupy Wall Street. We are down here in D.C. to lobby Congress on behalf of the 99%.
We want quality jobs. We want campaign finance reform. We want the rich to pay their fair share of taxes like they used to under President Clinton. We want the war profiteering to end, we want an end to corporate personhood, we want a lot of things that are broken to be set right because we love our country and we are here to fix it.
Let's be honest, this Congress is useless and corrupt. We all know that Wall Street owns the Senate, and now that John Boehner is in charge of the House our Congress is now universally detested as a bunch of out of touch clowns. Not all of Congress is useless, but most of them are. They don't get to meet enough working class people like us, they are too busy with lobbyists and expensive dinner fundraisers. This is where we come in.
So we are here in D.C. today to lobby Congress on behalf of working class people who can't afford a lobbyist. I'm tired of Congress crying "CLASS WAR!" boo hoo whenever we discuss raising taxes on the wealthiest 1%, especially when 47% of Congress IS the 1% and a good portion of the rest of them have sold their soul to Corporate special interests.
I want to fight for working class people like me who can't afford a lobbyist. I am tired of representatives who coddle the rich and engage in insider trading, so I am going to Congress myself to treat the dishonest crooks there the way I treated Fox News.
I will not be an obedient peasant anymore. I will not let this bought and paid for Congress sell out my future, on SOPA and PIPA, on NDAA, on a whole host of issues where they screw 99% of Americans so that the wealthiest 1% can profit. I don't have class envy, I want justice for being robbed by billionaires who would repeal the 20th century.
We will be tweeting the news all day on twitter at hashtags #j17 and #occupycongress, and Austin (Tool) and I will be videotaping a lot of the action and taking pictures to give you a full report tomorrow. I have $17 dollars to my name. There is nothing left for these greedy bastards to steal from me. My family and friends need health care, they need good jobs with good pay, they need an America that invests in education, not war, and we need a congress that fights for the working class, not the special interests and the wealthiest 1%. That is what I fight for.
I fight for the people who can't be here. I didn't ask for this class war that the working class has been losing for the last 40 years and more, but I will fight like hell for people like me who don't have a voice anymore in this corrupt system.
We love our country and our countrymen and we are here to fix it.

9:48 AM PT: Just visited Rep Lamar Smith, author of SOPA. His staff gave us the runaround. Utter nonsense. We met with NJ GOP Rep Chris Smith next, his staffer tried to defend SOPA while attacking Dodd-Frank. Absurd. Very frustrating.
I will update again soon. Peace and love to all
