I am not making this up.
So here's what happened.
1. Rush Limbaugh called a Georgetown law student a "Slut."
2. Democrats demanded that Republicans condemn Limbaugh.
3. Most Republicans ignore the demand, with the exception of a halfhearted comment from Boehner and a pretty decent condemnation from Carly Fiorina. Credit where it's due.
4. The internet explodes with comments about it. Such as the mass Re-Tweet of the statement "Today, we are all sluts."
5. Darrell Issa blames the Democrats for all of it and demands an apology.
I am still not making this up. This is as much of the letter as I've been able to piece together because journalists are assholes and don't trust the American People to read primary sources:
While your letter raises important concerns about these inappropriate comments and the tone of the current debate over religious freedom and Obamacare, I am struck by your clear failure to recognize your own contributions to the denigration of this discussion and attacks on people of religious faith,
[Redacted by Politico and the MSM, but Issa apparently complained about Democrats being mad that no women were on the health panel and said something like "GAWD it was about RELIGIOUS FREEDOM TO ENSLAVE WOMEN not WOMENS RIGHTS"]
[He continued:]
“Given the demeaning and inflammatory rhetoric of the minority on the subject of religious freedom, I find it incredibly disappointing that you would seek only a narrow denunciation of one set of money that your party is simultaneously trumpeting in an effort to raise campaign funds,”
“My staff, particularly female staff, have also been the subject of intense and disgusting accusations and insults—‘hag,’ ‘traitor,’ and numerous references to anatomy have been among the milder expressions hurled over the phone,”
So yeah, FUCK YOU Democrats and your women-hating bigotry. Rush Limbaugh has the religious freedom to call Georgetown students "sluts" if he damn well pleases.
Or something.
Because from the panel that included no women, to Limbaugh saying that women should be forced to make pornography if contraception is legal, to calling a Georgetown student a slut for daring to both have ovaries and speak her mind, this whole mess is clearly the fault of the Democratic party and our inflammatory rhetoric.
Quotes were pieced together from these two stories:

Politico is apparently willing to share the letter if you pay them, because only people with a disposable income should have the right to access primary sources.
Dicks.
