Here's a question I heard a half dozen times or so during filming. "Show me a country where socialism has worked."
If that question ever stymied you, there's a simple answer. Watch.
A transcript won't do you much good ... but I included one in the comments.
It's called "journalism."
You don't beat them by getting angry.
You don't beat them with outrage and histrionics.
You don't beat them by trading unprovable assertions . . .
. . . or trading insults.
Though facts certainly matter, you don't beat them with facts alone.
You beat them with questions.
Careful, specific questions . . .
Questions posed in just the right order, building on a progression of answers . . .
Questions posed like the moves of chess pieces . . .
Questions that expose their contradictions . . .
. . . and don't allow them anywhere to run.
In other words, you beat them with simple journalism . . . something no one else in the media has done with respect to the tea party cult. We did.
This is a very short example . . . the third of 14 I have excerpted from my film, MEGA-DITTOS!!! The Tea Party Cult. The scheduled release is June 5. Stay tuned for the next episode, as well as opportunities for sneak preview screenings.
