Something like ... taking part in constructive diplomacy with 50 nations, to scale back and secure the proliferation of "loose nukes" and its associated technology.
The GOP candidates, er um, wouldn't have the finesse, or the far-sighted resolve ...
Obama confronts nuke threat on N. Korea front line
AP -- March 24, 2012
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — President Barack Obama is opening his pitch for faster work to lock down nuclear material that could be used by terrorists with an up-close look at the nuclear front lines along the heavily militarized border with volatile North Korea.
Obama arrived in Seoul on Sunday morning, local time, for three days of diplomacy. In the midst of an election year focused on economic concerns at home, Obama has designed a rare Asia visit that features time in just one country. He'll use much of the time to keep pressure on North Korea to back off a planned rocket launch and return to disarmament talks.
The goal of the large gathering of world leaders is to secure nuclear material and prevent it from being smuggled to states or groups intent on mass destruction. Progress has been uneven since the ambitious goal of lockdown by 2014 was first set out by Obama at a similar session in Washington in 2010. No breakthroughs are expected now.

No doubt the GOP Chicken-hawks, will find some way to cast this trip as more "Obama Appeasement" --
appeasement to who or what, no doubt they won't say.
I shudder to think how an 'End-Timer' President, would approach such a weighty and awesome responsibility ...
Or even an 'Etch-a-Sketch' President -- just trying to "shake things up" ... and start out with a fresh, blank slate;
you know, "Start out with a Bang!"
In Mr Romney's neighborhood, apparently you can just ask your unruly neighbors to move out ... as Mitt would do with pesky North Korea:

Obama to Seoul
The president is traveling to South Korea this weekend for a 50-nation nuclear summit that will likely be overshadowed by North Korea's recently announced plans to launch a rocket next month. The administration has condemned the move as a violation of Pyongyang's recent agreement to halt weapons tests and return to nuclear talks.
North Korea's nuclear program has gotten less attention on the campaign trail than Iran, though Romney has called for the United States to pursue regime change in North Korea following the death of former leader Kim Jong Il.

And in Mr Santorum's exalted world view,
America can do no wrong -- and apparently it's America's birth-rite to "lead the world" ...
not to do so, is "an abdication" ...

"Rick Santorum understands that those who wish to destroy America do so because they hate everything we are -- a land of freedom, a land of prosperity, a land of equality. Rick knows that backing down to the Jihadists means that we are only putting our foundational principles at greater risk.
President Obama's is "an approach that views America not as an exceptional leader but, rather, as just one more country in the sea of nations, not intrinsically better or worse than any other nation, not intrinsically better prepared to lead than any other nation. It is an abdication."

Of course, "an abdication" of what -- the GOP Chicken-hawk contenders never say ...
Just like when John McCain told us "he knew how to get the terrorists" -- but then failed to let anyone else in on his little secret.
To get to hear the rest of their "tall tales," well that only requires your vote for them. That's the price of admission, into their "exceptional" fantasy lands.
Til then it's all platitudes, idle threats, and breadcrumbs. Afterall, actually conducting foreign policy, is not really their problem, is it?
They're too busy casting aspersions, er um, I mean campaigning!
