On the Portland, Maine WGAN Phil Harriman Radio Show this past Saturday, March 30, 2012, Maine's tea party Governor Paul LePage, in a discussion about the defeat of his attempt to funnel money to religious schools said ”It wasn’t the religious part of it that was good, it was the brothers being stern and – look at my knuckles, they still show they were hit a few times. After a bit of laughter and the host saying, "That's going to get a few responses" LePage went on to praise this "method" of teaching as helping him and then goes on to say say that “…every child learns differently and that we should make available to our children every opportunity that there is for education.”
Including the opportunity of learning through corporal punishment Governor?
