A picture worth thousands of words:
I am still in awe of what is going on with Curiosity and the Mars Science Lab
and I just saw this pic of the resting places for the parts of the decent.
That part of the mission went spectacularly well and this pic is the lasting evidence of this.
Part of me finds it "touching", for lack of a better term: these things were created here on Earth and dent 350 million miles away, used once and then discarded.
But somehow, now, immortal.
I know they are just machines...but I'm such a nerd....
