Has Team Obama learned anything from their flop in Denver? I hope so. But where's the evidence?
Having lost the preparation and actual battle in the first debate; what are they doing to prepare President Obama for the "town hall" format of the second? Clearly, Governor Romney's team has their game together because they have their candidate doing town halls, tele-town halls, impromptu meet and greets every day.
Meanwhile, President Obama: more of the same. Big Rallies. Speeches. And maybe one more grumpy "eat your vegetables" pizza delivery to volunteers in which he makes a listless phone call to a voters complaining about debate preparation.
So where are Obama's tele-town halls? Where are his meet and greets? He's in Ohio today -- big speech at OSU -- get people registered and to the polls early. Of course. But where is the smaller venue with independent and other voters who have questions, who have stories to tell the President? Isn't that what he should be doing to prepare for next weeks town hall debate?
More of the same. This is serious shit....Mitt's going to be working that room like a pro, telling his tearjerker stories of dying kids he befriended (he cares!) and Obama will again find himself rusty -- a town hall format he's NOT PRACTICING for. Insane. Political malpractice.
