I have been an admirer of Andrew Sullivan. Though I've never agreed with his politics, I've found him to be a refreshing voice of reason. I didn't even mind his recent freakouts so much, because there's something appealing about a guy who wears his emotions on his sleeve.
But one, throwaway comment he just made has crossed the line.

After (properly) praising Bill Clinton's recent comments, Sullivan comments:
Could the president switch off ESPN for a second and take notes?
This goes beyond lambasting a poor debate performance. He just adopted the racial stereotype that Obama is lazy and obsessed with sports.
That kind of analysis I can do without. Goodbye, Andrew.
