The most effective attacks on Romney in both the primaries and general election has been about his tenure at Bain. Offshoring jobs, shipping factories overseas, layoff thousands of workers, draining profits, crazy management fees, and the overall reality of what vulture capitalism has done for the sake of profits.
Hidden in the first presidential debate is a nugget of pure Bain gold. A moment of truth uttered by Romney that shines light and backs up all the previous attacks on his Bain record.
Gold:
President Obama: And part of the way to do it is to not give tax breaks to companies that are shipping jobs overseas. Right now you can actually take a deduction for moving a plant overseas. I think most Americans would say that doesn’t make sense...
Gov. Romney: You said you get a deduction for taking a plant overseas. Look, I've been in business for 25 years. I have no idea what you’re talking about. I maybe need to get a new accountant...
WTF? Did Romney just serve up the biggest softball pitch ever in a Presidential debate? Are you kidding me? Where was Obama's home run swing on that one? That remark defines Romney and acknowledges that he has personally shipped plants overseas.
Why hasn't Jed Lewison put up a damning video of this? Why hasn't KOS or any one of the front pagers pushed this moment? Meme anyone? I don't know how to edit videos are how to write a kick ass diary so someone needs to take this and run with it. This is something that the KOS community is all about. Finding the golden nugget that the MSM has missed.
Cash that nugget in!!
