The Drudge Report and Sean Hannity have been teasing this BOMBSHELL October Suprise all afternoon, getting all the liberals nervous about what they'd found excited about having yet another reason to mock the right-wing for its ridiculousness. After hours of anxious waiting, Drudge finally dropped the hammer on its scandalous head:
OBAMA'S OTHER RACE SPEECH
Exclusive: In heated ’07 speech, Obama lavishes praise on Wright, says feds ‘don’t care’ about New Orleans [VIDEO]
In a video obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller available on Youtube since 2007, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama tells an audience of black ministers, including the Rev. Jeremiah Wright [ZOMG], that the U.S. government shortchanged Hurricane Katrina victims because of racism.
I'm pretty sure the media, who vetted Obama extensively and covered this exact story already in 2008
here, for instance, would have called Obama out if he had indeed claimed Katrina happened "because of racism". So lolz, Drudge. Nice try.
Contines the Drudge piece, farter down:
The racially charged and at times angry speech undermines Obama’s carefully-crafted image as a leader eager to build bridges between ethnic groups. For nearly 40 minutes, using an accent he almost never adopts in public, Obama describes a racist, zero-sum society, in which the white majority profits by exploiting black America. The mostly black audience shouts in agreement. The effect is closer to an Al Sharpton rally than a conventional campaign event.
OH. MY. GOD.
THE ACCENT! He uses
a different cadence in front of black people!!!!
Is...could...could Barack Obama be, in fact....BLACK...?!????
Onwards:
Obama begins his address with “a special shout out” to Jeremiah Wright
Okay, Drudge lost me there. Been there, done that. Fuck it. Read
the rest of the story for yourself, through Drudge's drivel eyes. Then treat yourself to
the full transcript as posted by the Chicago Sun Times. Or the videos proper:
Minus the sinister Wright shout-out:
Includes the Svengali shout-out to Wright:
And then, LAUGH OUT FUCKING LOUD at how juicy it is that the right wing has nothing, absolutely NOTHING, to pin on Obama, one of the best presidents we've had in a good long while, and who's about earn another well-deserved four years in elected office.
This should all play out very well for the right...
