I have been saying for a long time that if we hit these goons right where they love, namely THEIR business losing money, or not doing as well as it used to, perhaps they would think again before they, let's say, told their employees that they will be fired if they vote for Obama. That kind of thing is illegal, you cannot tell someone they HAVE to vote a certain way, nor can you threaten them to vote a certain way or there will be consequences. This has been happening way too often in the Thug "I'm the king of the world" businesses. We can fight back. It is the easiest thing in the world. Which company is the worst and always rates the worst at helping their employees out with fair wages, health care, any of that? What company has caused more small town stores to close, and to undercut many other stores with sub-quality, foreign made products? WALMART. None of us should ever, EVER shop at Walmart. Yes, it may be cheaper, but it's stuff is REALLY cheaper (like not made well, and will fall apart after a few washings), it won't last long and by shopping there, you are saying that what they are doing is A-OK with you. Target is based in Minneapolis, and they give back 5% of pre-tax profits every year to charity. You can even go in and tell them which charity or school you would like your money to go to, and it will go there (provided you use their Target charge card)...the charity money is for EVERYTHING, cash, check, everything. So, now I read what the big cheese at Papa John's Pizza has said. Follow below:
If Obamacare is in fact not repealed, we will find tactics to shallow out any Obamacare costs and core strategies to pass those costs back onto consumers in order to protect our shareholders best interests.
-John Schnatter, CEO and founder of Papa John’s, via Conference Call in August 2012.
So, if you want to support a company that is making TONS of money, and has been a right wing bastion for a long time, go ahead, but in my mind, you are doing the same thing these mean SOB's are doing to their employees, telling them how to vote and who to vote for OR ELSE. This is simple. STOP BUYING PAPA JOHN'S PIZZA. Can you IMAGINE what that would do to a company if people just stopped calling, stopped coming? I know, we have to think of the workers, so make it a month long campaign. One that shows Papa Johns that they still deliver to Americans who still live in a Republic, and want their workers to have a fair wage and a chance to have insurance and the best possible for their families. When someone who is as rich as this guy says something like this, I think we have to hit him where it obviously hurts him the most. He does not care enough about his employees to make sure they have the best insurance possible, and even to have insurance (I DOUBT if they provide ANY insurance for their employees, under manager level).
Last thing, is the Saint Vincent de Paul soup kitchens and thrift stores for the poor. The Thugs are going to stop helping them because their IDIOT VP candidate got caught with his parts hanging out, by throwing his weight around and sweeping in and washing a clean pan, then allowing without saying ONE SINGLE WORD, people to stop giving to this soup kitchen because they called him on his completely idiotic idea and photo op? Is he SO DUMB that he NEVER thought anyone would find out what he did? Did he threaten them so much that he thought nobody would talk? This makes me sick to my stomach. He is a creep. Instead of people donating ANYTHING to Romney's campaign (are you NUTS?) give it to St. Vincent de Paul. They need it way more than he does. He has reamed enough American's money. Instead of a donation, say: I have given the donation I was planning on giving you to St. Vincent de Paul because your lack of courtesy and insight has caused a huge drop in their donations from YOUR pack of friends. By the way, you really can donate to and read about them here: St. Vincent de Paul
