From last night's debate,
a contentious moment erupted over the subject offshoring businesses. President Obama claimed that companies could receive a tax break for moving jobs overseas.
Romney claimed that that was untrue and he would "fire his accountant is if were true."
I have scowered the "fact checkers" and cannot find the answer.
This issue about outsourcing should be the central line of attack following this debate.
It connects Bain, Romney and his practices.
Romney looked Obama straight in the eye and made his statement.
Do businesses get tax breaks for offshoring?
As an aside: I was waiting for Obama, when Romney was talking about not paying too much taxes, I was waiting for Obama to reply with:
" And Governor Romney, you have obviously showed your disdain for taxes by offshoreing your money, thereby denying schools, nursing homes, and our soldiers."
