I had such a great time (me and 23,000 friends) yesterday at the rally at McArthur High School. It was really worth the 9 hour wait in the hot sun!!
I'm not very good at this diary stuff yet - I've only written one diary and this is the first time I've used pictures. I tried to make them smaller, but they seem to be awfully big - hope that's OK.
This is the President urging everybody to make sure their friends and family Go Vote if they didn't do early voting already.

He spoke for about 20 minutes then waved at everybody, shook hands with the crowd in front of the podium.
One of the speakers before the President was Rep. Frederica Wilson from Miami Gardens. Loved her sunny, cheerful yellow outfit!
Debbie Wasserman Schulz was there (my Congresswoman!), Charlie Christ (that was a surprise, but he talked about Hurricane Sandy and how WE knew what NJ was going through - oh yeah, WE know! Pit Bull spoke to the Latinos (I didn't know who he was, but younger people sitting with me knew).

I took a vacation day tomorrow to work on GOTV with one of our local volunteer offices and I've been making phone calls tonight from the Dashboard.
Hoping that all goes well and we don't end up with another recount debacle - bad enough we're already having crazy issues with voter suppression and intimidation.
GET IN LINE! STAY IN LINE! DON'T LEAVE UNTIL YOU VOTE!!
