As Fox News (yes, that Fox News) reports
The first same-sex marriage at West Point's Cadet Chapel will be celebrated Saturday -- when a military veteran and her partner exchange vows roughly one year after President Obama ended the military policy banning openly gay people from serving in the military...
The ceremony will take place in the Military Academy's Cadet Chapel between Brenda Sue Fulton and Penelope Dara Gnesin.
Truly the downfall of the West is upon us. Remember all those prescient predictions about what would happen to our military if
Don't Ask, Don't Tell were done away with? Now, one year later, you see the naked truth of these predictions laid bare: gay marriages on the West Point campus.
I swear on all that is holy and true, if Don't Ask, Don't Tell repeal is not repealed, the slippery slope of the homosexual agenda will guarantee that some day the participants in these same-sex marriages will be treated as equals by the military and federal government -- and then the wrath of the Lord will be uncontrollable.
Let us see what else is in store for our military and our country in the days ahead, as more and more of these predictions of cataclysm are fulfilled.
Our Soldiers' Very Survival May Be In Question
I hope that when we pass this legislation that we will understand that we are doing great damage... ((to)) the battle effectiveness, which is so vital to the support, to the survival of our young men and women in the military.
Disruption
Assimilating openly homosexual Marines into the tightly woven fabric of our combat units has strong potential for disruption at the small unit level.
Sexual Assault
If the law is overturned... the number of homosexuals in the armed forces can only increase -- leading to a corresponding increase in same-sex sexual assaults.
Conscription
"[Lifting the ban] may even prove decisive to the viability of the all-volunteer force. ((We may face)) a return to conscription to meet our requirements for warriors in those conflicts.
"[Surveys suggest that if the ban is lifted, a minimum of] 24,000 current members of the armed forces might be lost over and above normal discharge attrition in a one-to-three year period...
And last but far from least
Increased Pedophilia
the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell will cause "more instances of pedophilia now in the United States military."

p.s. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
It's too bad you've precipitated the moral decay of our society, but "dems the breaks." Just make sure to enjoy yourselves a bit before the end times are upon us all.
