With each passing day, it becomes increasingly clear that President Obama is willing (if not eager) to take the country over the "fiscal cliff" in pursuit of his radical anti-Tentite agenda.
House Speaker John Boehner—last seen curled up in the leadership position—has made the president some very generous offers in an effort to avoid that fate.
Among them are:
But, of course, being the socialist ideologue that he is, Obama has flatly rejected all of these wonderful concessions, choosing instead to bring us to the precipice.

On Comedy Central...
Jon Stewart—whose least favorite guest of all time is actor Hugh Grant—dropped some rhymes about Michigan's new "right-to-work-for-less-money" law.
And Stephen Colbert—the leading contender to replace retiring Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC)—examined Fox News' efforts to recycle the "Ground Zero Mosque" controversy.
Note: The Daily Show and The Colbert Report will be airing reruns this week.
Elsewhere...
Orange County, CA Judge Derek G. Johnson positioned himself for a future GOP Senate run.
"I'm not a gynecologist, but I can tell you something," the judge said, according to documents released Thursday. "If someone doesn't want to have sexual intercourse, the body shuts down. The body will not permit that to happen unless a lot of damage is inflicted, and we heard nothing about that in this case."
"That tells me that the victim in this case, although she wasn’t necessarily willing, she didn’t put up a fight."
Meanwhile...
A writer at the unironically named "American Thinker" magazine argued that President Obama is holding more slaves than Thomas Jefferson ever did.
Thomas Jefferson owned about six hundred slaves over the course of his life. That is to say, he was involved in denying individual sovereignty to six hundred people. Barack Obama, by comparison, wishes to deny individual sovereignty to over three hundred million people. And yet according to the left, Jefferson should be dismissed as a hypocrite, and one of the noblest documents ever written reduced to the status of mere "politics," whereas Obama, who seeks to destroy that document, ought to be seen as a champion of equality and fairness.
And, in other news...
Grover Norquist outlined his plans to keep the country hostage, and President Obama's likely response to the crisis.
"We got lots of things Obama claims to be for, and we will make — we, the Republicans in the House and Senate — will make him actually make those spending restraints, in order to get the continuing resolution out [for] a week, two weeks, a month. Obama will be on a very short leash, fiscally speaking, over the next four years. He's not gonna have any fun at all. He may decide to go blow up small countries he can’t pronounce because it won’t be any fun to be here, because he won’t be able to spend the kind of cash he was hoping to."
Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war.
