I was having drinks with wonderful company recently and over the course of a few politics crept into the conversation. While discussing the Republican Party, I made my views known. You see, when I see the Grand Ol' Party, I see a Ponzi Scheme. If the government cuts the amount of revenue it collects from the wealthy, the government will collect more revenue; what?! Exactly. It's a scam, a well-marketed scam that lures in Pro-Lifers, Gun-Righters, southern-whites, and the rich. Which is exactly why Mitt Romney should be their nominee.
He is the caricature we have been waiting for.
Take a man who's education and first house was all paid for by his dad, who goes around talking about how he "grew up on the real streets of America". A man who inherited millions but said he never inherited "a dime". A man who ran as a Pro-Choice/Pro-Gay unabashed moderate who pretended to like progressives when he was running in Massachusetts, then when he began to pivot for the national ticket, changed all of his views to accomodate the necessities of the Grand Ol' Ponzi scam. A man who wants to cut his own taxes by half when he is already paying a low-rate, who's financial holdings are linked to the Caymans and Swiss Banks, who "isn't concerned about the very poor", who thinks "corporations are people too", and who's campaign is aided by shifty Super-PACs.
Mitt Romney is the perfect caricature of the national Republican Party. A dishonest member of the top-1% who thinks he can talk and spend his way into office by duping enough and swaying the rest with his super-riches. He is Wall Street's man on the stump, as Mitt Romney himself is accidently reminding us time and time again.
