Do you all remember this song? Evidently the Gingrich campaign never heard of it.
On Tuesday, Gingrich will be in Chattanooga and sent out this invite, Gingrich Fundraising Invitation. It states:
" You are cordially invited to a VIP Roundtable, in support of Newt Gingrich.
Tuesday, February 28th 8am - 9am at the Chattahoochie Choo-Choo Hotel. Cost $1,000.

In other Tennessee GOP news, Rick Santorum will be in Chattanooga tomorrow. Actually, Santorum (eww!) will be in Hixson, Tennessee a suburb of Chattahootchie, oops Chattanooga. He will be at Abba's House on Hixson Pike. There will be plenty of protesters out to greet Santorum on Saturday the 25th between 11- 1. He will be speaking at 1-4pm. It will be a well attended event, by protesters that is.
If any of you live in nearby Atlanta, Nashville, Birmingham, Asheville or anywhere in between it would be worth it to come protest. Bring your signs. There will be a story on this event tomorrow at the Daily Kos.

Also, Newt, if you really want to win over Chattanoogans give us back the General and quit insulting our town. We haven't forgotten the Andrew's Raiders, 19 Congressional Medals were given out for their efforts. Four of the Congressional Medal Honor men were laid to rest in Chattanooga's National Cemetery. Instead of a traditional white stone, they were honored in this fitting manner:
