"David S" of Denver Colorado has created a petition at whitehouse.gov asking the Obama administration to allow Americans to opt out of the death squad and drone assassination program:
The New York Times reports that President Obama has created an official “kill list” that he uses to personally order the assassination of American citizens. Considering that the government already has a “Do Not Call” list and a “No Fly” list, we hereby request that the White House create a “Do Not Kill” list in which American citizens can sign up to avoid being put on the president’s “kill list” and therefore avoid being executed without indictment, judge, jury, trial or due process of law.
This is what I call constructive criticism.
Of course, you have to create an account and sign in to whitehouse.gov in order to sign the petition. If you're really worried about being targeted for drone assassination this might tend to facilitate tracking and targeting.
But no need to worry about that sort of thing unless you're some kind of dangerous militant.
Come to think about it, why are you so concerned about due process and all those other pesky amendments?
Is there something you haven't told me? [grasps boutonniere between thumb and forefinger and points it in your direction]
