Yet another screw-up by R-MONEY and his staff. I blame them for not feeding him good data, and I blame HIM for either: 1. accepting messed-up data again and again, and/or 2. not firing these utter incompetents and getting better staff. It says a TON about R-MONEY's complete lack of management skills. He might be good with numbers that have dollars signs in front of them, but he couldn't manage people if his life depended on it (and his political life does depend on it).
But don't get me wrong -- I voted in 2008 for Obama/Biden, and I will vote for Obama/Biden in November. i am also out canvassing for Elizabeth Warren in Massachusetts.
Back to R-MONEY.
This boob (and I am trying to keep it clean, no "backsides" of anything, or kissing any body parts) goes and says that the Israeli health care system is less expensive than that in the US, and that it is a very good healthcare system.

Romney, speaking to donors Monday, commented on how Israel — a “pretty healthy nation” — spends far less on health care than the United States does. Israel’s success in controlling costs is often attributed to the heavy role of its government and a requirement that everyone have coverage, some of the same qualities Romney condemns in the health law Obama authored.
“We have to find ways, not just to provide health care to more people, but to find ways to finally manage our health care costs,” Romney said during the fund-raiser at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem.
Romney’s praise for Israel’s health care system was greeted with some surprise.
“We’re laughing — for a Republican to praise the Israeli health care system, which is managed care, universal coverage, with no small amount of federal government control and oversight,” said Karen Feinstein, president and chief executive of the Pennsylvania-based Jewish Healthcare Foundation, which has been studying the differences between the Israeli and US health care systems.
I wonder what R-MONEY is smoking (yeah, I KNOW Mormons aren't supposed to smoke) or drinking (yeah, I KNOW Mormons aren't supposed to drink). HOW ELSE do you explain this description by R-MONEY that is completely contrary to his clearly espoused position on healthcare (or at least the position he has taken during THIS campaign season)??
It is even more puzzling because he does not dare to discuss Obama's healthcare program (other than to promise to repeal it) or his own Massachusetts healthcare program.
Maybe the only explanation is that he wanted to flatter the Israelis, and thought that American Jews would somehow be convinced by that flattery to vote for him.
As an American Jew, I can tell you, it doesn't work that way. Jews are "the people of the book." Study and critical thinking has long been part of the culture. Some of us see inconsistencies from a mile away.
This one sticks out like a sore thumb (and somehow, that is pretty funny). Or maybe it is just another FLIP-FLOP.
