The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, via the Washington Post and TPM, reports that Wisconsin law allows a candidate to appear on a state ballot twice "but only if he or she is running for president or vice president."
The Journal-Sentinel goes to report:
Ryan is running against Democrat Rob Zerban of Kenosha in November.
Zerban has raised $1.2 million in his race. Ryan has raised $4.3 million as of July 25, according to the Federal Election Commission. Zerban is a former small businessman who sold his last business in 2008.
Zerban is a kossack, and has an
ActBlue page. You can find his campaign website
here. Obama, Axelrod, and Cutter will fillet Romney and Ryan nationally, but we need to get Zerban's back.
