NC released its early vote schedule today for the 10/18 to 11/3 period and it features more weekend voting with the same total number of days and EV sites as '08, but less sites the first few weekdays. List at: http://www.ncsbe.gov/... more below:
Each of North Carolina's 100 counties was required to have one site open each weekday for at least 8 hours as well as being open Satuday Nov. 3 (same as '08).
Here's a comparison of the two years (number in parentheses are the total number of counties that day if less than all 100), note that all the weekdays not listed gradually ramp up to the Friday 11/2 total

30 counties have just the one required site, while Gullford (Greensboro) has 23, Mecklenburg (Charlotte) has 22, while Buncombe (Asheville) and Wake (Raleigh) each have 17.
