So...uh...yea...I got nothin' as far as a witty introduction, so let's get on with the show - figuratively now...literally later on. ;D
Let's get historical for a bit. On September 17, 1862, Union forces hurled back a Confederate invasion of Maryland in the Civil War battle of Antietam. With 23,100 killed, wounded or captured, it remains the bloodiest day in U.S. military history. History textbooks in Texas say the South won, and not a single person died. ;D On this date in 1972, M*A*S*H premiered on CBS. I grew up with the show, have seen every single episode numerous times, and bawled like a damn baby when it ended. I will, however, admit to it being way less funny once "Frank Burns" left. On this date in 1996, former VP Spiro T. Agnew died at age 77. Not to speak ill of the dead but {cough} CROOK! {cough} On this date last year, Occupy Wall Street began...well...OCCUPYING. :D Finally, one of my favorite Brits EVAH is celebrating a birthday today. And, I'm talking about...
Rachel...Rachel...Rachel...bring "my guy" back to your show soonest, please & thanks!
Now, for some much - needed SPARK in our lives. :D Now, these guys are SECURE in their manhood! Big doggie is very very happy. :D Finally, I bet this lady can kick a$$ and take names, too!
On with The Rachel Maddow Show...
"There are 47 percent Who are With Him, Who are Dependent upon Government" - So, Gov. Mittwit's slamming the electorate or admitting he's got no chance or what? There are also some interesting comments about China on video. The entire video ended up in David Corn's hand at Mother Jones, and the video was authenticated. Wow...OK...I guess we need to go on the "slamming the electorate" side of the equation. Yea, people shouldn't have food or health care or anything. The campaign's made an effort to show how concerned he is about EVERYONE subsequent to that video's release. Like they're going to admit it's true?? HA! And, here's our Mr. Corn! Those who chose to vote for President Obama refuse to take personal responsibility along with other CHOICE quotes. We're victims, too, and proud of it. "Sex acts" at a Governor Mittwit event?? Hell, I'm not so sure I'd deny that; it makes him look less like a robot! ;D
My job is not to worry about those people.
Huh, well, I guess we know where Governor Mittwit got that "those people" memo from, yes? Yea know, if I was the Obama campaign, I'd just make an ad of that video & run it every day from now until Election Day.
"They Report. You, Increasingly, Think Something Else Entirely" - File this information under "No $hit, Sherlock," but a whole mess of FAUX News employees & pundits are paid hacks for Governor Mittwit. Again, to anyone who's shocked by this news, I've got a bridge over some nice swampland to sell you. There's dissent in MENSA ranks - GOOD! :)
"The Interview" - I wonder if Frank Rich felt the increasing need for hot showers & delousing after writing his story? That had to be a hell of an embed! He claimed conservative "media" predicted the impact of the newest
"Old Man Yells at Cloud" winner. They also didn't appreciate how Gov. Mittwit threw Rep. Legit Rape under the bus. However, they still cream in their jeans over Rep. Kill Medicare As We Know It because he runs a 45 - minute marathon...or something. ;D
"Don't Mention It" - An aide to Governor Mittwit admitted the campaign's been "short on specifics"...or...not short enough on specifics - depending on the day & the potency of the Alice B. Toklas brownies in the campaign green room. :D Weekend violence in Afghanistan didn't make the cut in the campaign talking points. Joint US - Afghan operations have been suspended because some of those we train tend to turn their guns on us.
"You Are Here" - Some folk are already casting their POTUS votes by mail. Hey, did y'all see my fair state up there?? :D Governor Mittwit's own staffers are trashing him. Well, THAT'S not changed since 2008. Back then, even those who worked for the guy didn't like him. The more things change, the more they stay the same. President Obama's ahead in all but 1 "swing state" as of today. Remember those rather dim fundraising numbers from earlier this summer? THAT'S looking better, too. 75% of "outside money" is being spent for...well...guess who. So, as bad as things are looking for Gov. Mittwit today, President Obama supporters can't afford to just sit back & chuckle.
