Time for us to get the facts out about us so called "victims" and "freeloaders" who depend on government and have no personal responsibility. Well, as a military veteran I'm not asking for any govt handouts, nor do I think I'm a victim. I know all too well that as a married man I have to take personal responsibility to provide for my family. I've never applied for food stamps or Medicaid, but even if I did apply for those programs I would do so for temporary measures, cause during my time in service my TAX dollars went into those programs; they would just become a return investment for me. Does Romney include those 47 percent of people who are veterans using VA benefits? I know that for my personal responsibility to further myself I'm going to have to go back to school. The Post 9/11 GIbill, is that a govt handout he was talking about? I just want to use those benefits to pay for college tuition, books and monthly stipends. Once I would finish school and start my new career, I can take further responsibility to live a better life. Romney's comments about us supporters for the President is the most ignorant statement coming from a man who's spent the last five years running for President. Well, Mr. Romney I got news for you: I'm an American, a military veteran, I've paid my taxes since I was 18yrs old, military service has taught me to know what personal responsibility is. If I have to use "govt handouts" I would only use them as temporary measures for myself and my family. Next time you say something ignorant about me and my family, look at yourself in the mirror and try to put yourself in the shoes of these "47percent".
