After an erratic night, Jared Lee Laugner, attended a Congressman on your Corner event at my local Safeway supermarket. Just after 10 AM he shot 19 people, six of whom died.
He killed a federal judge and a 10 yr old girl. He shot Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in the head.
Yesterday, transcripts of interviews with the Pima County Sheriff's Department and FBI investigators were released that painted a picture of a troubled young man and parents who knew, but didn't intervene at the level necessary to prevent the massacre.

Loughner's parents and acquaintances saw his decline but had trouble identifying it as mental illness or dealing with it, the reports suggest.
Not sure how I feel about Jared Lee Loughner's parents. No parent wants to think their child is a mass murderer, and I don't walk in their shoes. They carry a heavy burden.
