I'm getting sick and tired of folks criticizing the President without taking into account all of the facts.
First of all, we have to remember certain things about the job. It is the President's job to keep us SAFE. That means that there are certain things that HAVE to be done, which the American people do not need to know about. Knowing about them is helping the enemy.
On the Flip, I will explain all of the reasons that we NEED to support the President, and why people should really take a hard look at the record before they criticize him.
(The REAL situation on the flip.)
First of all, we have seen that the President has responded EXTREMELY well to the crisis in the middle east. While the US did help one side, we also made it very clear that there would be NO boots on the ground, and resolved the crisis without any American Lives being lost. Sure there are still some questions, mostly from people who are trying to criticize the President for his stance, but the fact remains that not one American life was lost in the conflict.
Our President came into office with a mandate that has been ruthlessly opposed by the other party. The President promised that he had a plan to end the war, and he in fact is going to do so. True it wasn't as fast as the peaceniks would have liked, but we needed to keep in mind the real situation. It was necessary to train up the local forces in order to allow them to win against the enemy who posed a threat to our way of life.
The President has also been leading the way in the war on drugs, shutting down the peddlers and the pushers who have been poisoning our youth. There has been a lot of talk about legalization, etc, but the fact remains that the FDA has stated that these drugs are illegal and need to be regulated.
Our president has also fought HARD against those that would destroy our environment. Legislation that protects the environment has been made law during his administration, and as a result the President deserves full credit for its beneficial effects.
Finally, up until now, No-one has fought harder than our President on Racial Issues. It is to his credit that we have made enormous strides and will continue to make strides.
Therefore, due to all these facts, it's time that we put aside any personal animosity that we might have and support the president in the face of these unfounded attacks.
