Reince Priebus, hapless chair of the Republican National Commitee, was all a-twitter during the Ted Cruz blabathon. Here's some highlights.
In a fight between Harry Reid and Ted Cruz, I stand with Ted Cruz any day. #MakeDCListen #StandWithTed
— @Reince
He, and the RNC, stands with Cruz in "filibustering" against the bill passed by House Republicans, and against Republicans like Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn who will vote against Cruz. So he's not standing with House Republicans and GOP leadership in the Senate? So confusing.
An ObamaCare “Family Glitch” Could Cost Families Thousands Of Dollars And Leave Half A Million Children Uninsured #SenateMustAct
— @Reince
There are
more than 852,000 uninsured children in
Texas, the state Cruz says he represents. By the way, if congressional Republicans cared about those children, they could
fix the glitch instead of trying to kill Obamacare and take insurance away from
millions of children.
Obama Released A New Rule Defining Affordability; That Rule Would Leave Millions Of Americans Unable To Afford Family Health Care Coverage
— @Reince
No link on that one, so who knows what Priebus is talking about. But here's a
link. "When open enrollment begins on the online, state-based marketplaces established under Obamacare,
premiums nationwide are expected to be around 16 percent lower than originally predicted, the U.S. Health and Human Services Department said in a new report released Wednesday."
ObamaCare Fact: If your healthcare plan isnt up to ObamaCare standards...you could have it cancelled. So much for keeping your current plan!
— @Reince
If your insurance plan isn't up to Obamacare standards, you're wasting a lot of money on insurance. The likelier outcome here is that the insurance company is going to improve your plan so that they can continue to get your money.
The IRS Will Play A Leading Role In ObamaCare Implementation, Policing The Health Care Decisions Of Millions Of Americans.
— @Reince
No it won't. The IRS will figure out your subsidy. It won't have anything to do with the decision you and your doctor make for your health care.
Harry Reid, listen up-->40 Percent Of Americans Say The “Country Will Be Worse Off Under ObamaCare Than Better"
http://t.co/...
— @Reince
Yeah, and that
same poll says that
57 percent "say they disapprove of the idea of cutting off funding as a way to stop the law from being implemented, a finding that has been consistent in Kaiser
Health Tracking Polls since January 2011."
But you stand with Cruz, Reince, and the tiny minority of people who think shutting down the government to defund Obamcare is a swell idea. That'll work for you.
Stand with Daily Kos and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in denouncing Republicans who would completely shut down the government just to destroy Obamacare.
