Ben Carson, who has become a conservative hero because he railed against expanding access to affordable health care at the National Prayer Breakfast, has gone full wingnut by claiming that white liberals are racist!
Carson was asked this question by right-wing talk radio host Mark Levin:
And you're attacked in many respects because of your race. You're not supposed to think like this, and supposed to talk like this. A lot of white liberals just don't like it, do they?
Carson responded by saying this:
Well, they're the most racist people there are. You know, they put you in a little category, a little box -- you have to think this way. How could you dare come off the plantation?
Ben Carson reminds me a lot of Samuel "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher, who became an overnight celebrity within the conservative movement for asking Obama about his small business tax policy. Joe the Plumber ran against Democratic Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur in 2012 and lost by over 40 points, and
now he's giving bad advice to schoolchildren.
Ben Carson doesn't even make sense anymore.
