Happy Saturday. Welcome to KosKraft, Issue6.
This Group is for all those creative kossack artisans, plying away at their benches. If you make things, please join, and maybe give us a look at your work.
Last week I mentioned the hypertufa things my wife and I use to make. I found a few pix.
The wife has an excellent eye for what things look like when they grow. She created little scenes in every planter. We even went so far as to import little figurines to place in the vignettes. There were so many oohs and ahhs at the fairs over these. I just can't find good pictures, so these will have to do.

Next up, back to leatherwork. I'm an admin on a leatherwork blog. There are representatives of all skill levels there. It can be an excellent resource for any one wanting to start up as a hobby, or go further. One small thing I contributed to the group was this little photo essay on "How I Make a Belt".
There have been over 30,000 views of that little tutorial. Pretty amazing, I think. And I hope I helped a few of them begin their work.
If you think about it, there are an infinite number of things to make with leather, and some, you couldn't even imagine. From the simplest of things, like a keyring, to motorcyle stuff, wedding albums, and anything else you might want to fabricate.
Well, that's all for now...
All Kossack Artisans are welcome to join the group, just send me a PM.
In the meantime, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the KosKatalog. They do yeoman's work in there, and it's about as close to supporting "local" as you can get on the intertubes.
Another crafty place to hang around...
