Fuel Leaked From Sarnia Pipeline

"Diesel that leaked from a Sun-Canadian pipeline in Sarnia caused Wallaceburg and Walpole Island to close their drinking water intakes, officials say, after it reached the St. Clair River Tuesday.
The leak, which buckled the roadway at Vidal Street and Churchill Road in Sarnia late Tuesday morning, released unknown quantities of low-sulphur diesel fuel into the river, said company spokesperson Sam Bornstein.
Cleanup efforts were underway Wednesday, he said, as were investigations into what caused the leak and how much fuel was released."
