Still in the middle of remodeling my son's home. Exhausted. Not eating well. The house is cluttered due to shifting furniture around to lay the new flooring. Took me half a day to find my socks. My bed is being stored in the barn and I am sleeping on the sofa. My neck is killing me. I happened to glance out the widow to see the leaves floating on the water.
Yesterday as I made these photos the sun was shining and it was lightly raining. Crazy weather.

Northern IL Kossacks Dinner and a Show This Saturday
Starring our very own NormAl1792:
"With this wonderful cast, I am playing Henry II in a local production of The Lion in Winter. I thought it might be a good excuse for a Kossack Meet-Up in DeKalb, IL (@ 60 miles due west of Chicago) for the Saturday, September 21 show at 7:30 PM, preceded by dinner at a nearby restaurant."
Synopsis
Set during Christmas 1183 at Henry II of England's castle in Chinon, Anjou, Angevin Empire, the play opens with the arrival of Henry's wife Eleanor of Aquitaine, whom he has had imprisoned since 1173. The story concerns the gamesmanship between Henry, Eleanor, their three surviving sons Richard, Geoffrey, and John, and their Christmas Court guest, the King of France, Philip II Augustus (French: Philippe Auguste), who was the son of Eleanor's ex-husband, Louis VII of France (by his third wife, Adelaide). Also involved is Philip's half-sister Alais, who has been at court since she was betrothed to Richard at age eight, but has since become Henry's mistress.
Standing, L-R: King Phillippe II of France, Richard the Lion-Hearted, Princess Alais, Duke Geoffrey, and Prince John. Seated: Eleanor of Aquitaine and King Henry II

The Astrology of Today - All Signs
September 18, 2013
The Moon is in dreamy Pisces all day, and will reach Full tomorrow morning, so that emotions, however confusing at times, are heightening. Even so, we are influenced by Venus aligning with practical, realistic Saturn as well as the North Node of the Moon, and harmonizing with determined Pluto, and these bring a stronger sense of purpose, or a need for one.
Circumstances occurring now, and especially surrounding money and relationship matters, have a fated quality to them. There can be a new sense of realism and perhaps heaviness in our personal relationships, possibly in the form of relationship or love "tests", sobering moments, or facing realities.
Ultimately, we are offered opportunities to enhance our romantic relationships. This can be a powerful and uplifting time for romantic/sexual relationships, as we receive new insights into relationships and love, or our financial state.
Strategies can be developed quite successfully now. Commitments can be strengthened or broken if need be. We can see our relationships and their purpose more clearly.
This is an excellent time to cultivate patience as well as to weed out the unnecessary in order to focus on what truly matters to us. Commitments might be made today or tomorrow, or changes of game plans are necessary due to new revelations, a stronger sense of reality, and more accountability, revolving around a relationship, financial matters, or a social affair. We are searching for meaning and purpose through our connections.
