By now you've probably heard that Ariel Castro successfully committed suicide in Cleveland.
This is a failure of the justice system. He needed long drawn out lifetime imprisonment. He didn't want that and chose his own way out. It was our job to deliver him at least a portion of the hopeless incarceration that he meted out to his victims.
I'm not going to say "good riddance" because it's not good riddance. He dies at age 53 and escapes 20 or 30 years of retribution. He wanted suicide. He got it. That wasn't justice.
