Few movie men can constantly churn out hits like Mel Brooks. Across time, from being a writer on the Show of Shows, to turning out hits in the modern era, Mel Brooks keeps hits coming.
He and his characters have so many classic set-up lines it would be impossible for one diary to list them all for one movie, let alone all of his famous movies.
I thought it would be fun, though, to try to see which movie is your all time favorite Mel Brooks movie.
I've included clips from the choices below, since it might have been awhile since you've seen them all, or just for a laugh or two.
I know it might be an impossible vote, I know for me, having to chose between three of them is proving very tough..... do I go for the Producers, Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein?
Sigh...I still cannot decide.
So pull up a seat, argue for your favorite candidate, pull up a clip or two, and lets talk all things Mel Brooks.
Young Frankenstein
Blazing Saddles
Spaceballs
The Producers
History of the World Part I
Robin Hood Men in Tights
High Anxiety
Silent Movie
Dracula: Dead & Loving it
The Twelve Chairs
Life Stinks
To Be or Not to Be
