More below the fold:
Nina found a link to a blog post about tips to improve the most important skill for raiding: raid awareness. Pamena shares the link below, but I'll put it in again up here.
If you're interested in raiding then before you look up what your rotation or gear or gemming or reforges should be, read this post first. The ability to proactively determine the hazards in a boss fight and know and rehearse plans to deal with them will serve you better than being geared and knowing your priorities.
It is a skill, and it is not an easy one. But the fewer times you can die during raids, the more consistently you can perform the role you're given, the better chance the raid as a whole can progress and the more fun it is for everyone.
Here's the Team Z raid report from Moodyloner:
Things that Norushen is deader than:
* Rand Paul's eyes when he talks about starving poor people because Monica Lewinsky
* the bottle of Scotch that Boehner snuck into the SOTU.
* Chris Christie's chances in 2016
* Reince Priebus' sense of decency
There were a bunch more that I came up with when I heard that Team Z dropped Norushen, but I forgot what they were and no one sent any to me.
Next up, the Sha of Pride. Good luck, Team Z!

Here's Pamena with the Team RubiPam report:
Team RubiPam report:
We are farming for gear this week, as we did not get very far on Garrosh when we tried him last week, and we hope a few upgrades will put us in a better position. While we are not yet quite as fast and efficient as Team Kaels on the farm content, we did the first 5 bosses in SoO last Thursday, and the next 5 this past Monday, so we will return tonight to hopefully blow through Thok, Siegemaster and Paragons before getting back to the BIg Guy again. I have to say that while we all enjoy progression and getting through the next boss, sometimes it's nice to go back and see how far we've come as we handle the earlier bosses with relative ease. Except Spoils, of course - as Illidan would say, Pamena was UNPREPARED to go back to shadow on that fight. Pro tip: if you have two toons of the same class, and you've been playing, say, your Alliance shadow priest fairly often, for god's sake, make the key bindings for the two priests identical. Despite my ham fistedness, we did finally get Spoils down on Monday. My goal for Thok is to NOT GET STOMPED.
On the subject of Not Getting Stomped and on raiding generally: Nina found a wonderful blog post on raid awareness and how to cultivate it and shared the link with us in our website's shoutbox. I thought it needed to be linked in a more permanent place on the web site so I created a thread for it in the Raid forum. I urge anyone with any interest in raiding to read it - it will make more sense to you if you've done a bit of raiding already, but the issues and tips in it are really good reading. And here's the link again - http://iam.yellingontheinternet.com/...
Rotating SNM leadership seems to be working well - I hope Mageartin will report on his group's efforts this past Saturday. This coming Saturday is Tvath's turn!
New Flex Possibility:
As Nina has decided to make the Tuesday Flex-O-Rama a fun run through the first wing or two of SoO, I thought it would be worthwhile to put a second flex on the calendar for Friday at 9PM, for those who want to do just the last wing, Downfall, and try to get to Garrosh in a guild flex. I am not sure there's enough interest on the part of people who can do the damage/heals/tanking necessary for the last wing - it is exponentially more difficult than the first wing, so to make a viable group, we will need well geared folks who know these fights from LFR , flex or normal. So we'll see if such a group can be put together Friday - if not, no big deal, as there are other options like Oqueue and the expanded in game "other raids" option for those who want to get Garrosh on flex. I tried the ingame finder yesterday to do Ordos, and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the group came together, and how smoothly the run went. Yes, I was transported to a PVP realm for the fight, but after we were done, I quickly hearthed out of there and no harm was done.

Well, your hopes are answered, Pamena as Mageartin reports on Saturday Night Massacre:
SNM Massacre report:
We continued on with the meta [Glory of the Cataclysm Raider] this past Saturday. We went back to Blackwing Descent on Normal to get some of the achieves that are much harder to get on Heroic. We messed up on the timing and requirements for the Nefarian achieve (Keeping it in the Family), so we will have to return there next time I host SNM to pick this one up (a positive note, it takes longer to get everyone organized and to the mountain than it does to plow through most of the baddies.
We then moved on to The Bastion of Twilight on Heroic and got the entire dungeon on Heroic and a few secondary achieves. Next SNM of my own hosting, we will start in Throne of Four Winds on Heroic and then proceed from there as needed.

Finally, here's the Team Kaels raiding report as they battle illness and burnout:
Team Kaels continues to be beset. This week it was illness - Kaels sounds like a refugee from a plague ward and I'm still recovering from teh monster cold of monsterness - and internet issues - a cow stepped on Hunkel's modem, or something, I wasn't too clear on the precise issue but it probably involved cold temperatures or cows. So we took an old lockout and cleared up to Spoils on Tuesday and didn't raid at all on Wednesday despite Tay's enthusiasm for hitting some older content and maybe knocking out bits of the tier 14 or 15 meta. Sorry to disappoint you, Tay, on another night I would have been enthusiastic for it.
In other Team Kaels news, we have officially lost Azucarino to burnout until next expansion. He is leaving us for a comedy club and trying to get into law school, despite clear warnings from the lawyers in our bunch to stay away from that nonsense. Although he had been on backup status for a while, it does mean a hole in our roster. We've had great help from a number of people stepping in to be our rotating backup person - Croak and Keithos in particular in the past week. My thanks go out to them.
In flexorama news, Pamena already spoiled it a bit. I have officially stated that for the next month or so I'm making the Tuesday night flexorama into wing 1 and part of wing 2 farm night. So long as at least a few of the main raiders bring their geared characters we can accommodate a good number of new raiders and alts. This week was a nice relaxing run through wing 1 with an early end time because we started a little late. I'm trying to announce in guild chat when we're right before any of the bosses, so that if someone didn't make the initial call for 'do you want to flex' we can fit them in just before loot. But please do join at the beginning if you can - it's not really polite to make everyone else clear trash for you.
