A few days ago, I posted a diary about a Raz bounce Obama received after the ACA news came out last week. You can view the original comments here: http://www.dailykos.com/...
I posted these numbers from Raz as evidence:
2/13/2014 -44% approval
2/14/2014 -49% approval
2/15/2014 -50% approval
2/16/2014 -51% approval
And now, I'll add what's happened since:
2/17/2014 -48% approval
2/18/2014 -48% approval
2/19/2014 -48% approval
2/20/2014 -50% approval
Many of you rightly pointed out that Gallup who unfortunately still carries too much weight considering their performance showed some of Obama's worse numbers of his presidency during the same period. However, they are also showing a 7-point bounce over the past week:
GALLUP:
2/12/2014 -39% approval
2/13/2014 -40% approval
2/14/2014 -40% approval
2/15/2014 -41% approval
2/16/2014 -41% approval
2/17/2014 -42% approval
2/18/2014 -44% approval
2/19/2014 -44% approval
2/20/2014 -46% approval

So folks, something is happening here. I speculated that it was ACA because of this polling trend from Raz:
Public Approval of Health Care Law
11/24/2013 -36/58 (-22)
01/12/2014 -41/56 (-15)
02/01/2014 -42/53 (-11)
02/20/2014 -45/52 (-7)

Raz said this about the rising numbers in ACA:
"Just over half of voters still have an unfavorable opinion of the new national health care law, though slightly more now support the government requiring all plans to cover the same set of medical procedures than they have since October." http://www.rasmussenreports.com/...
So folks, yes ACA is getting more popular and Obama and Democrats are looking better as we enter this election seasons.
