A blurb out of the Washington Post has this tidbit:
Three Republicans who supported a bill that would bolster the rights of business owners to refuse service to gays and others on the basis of religion reversed course Monday and asked the governor to veto the measure.
These lawmakers, according to the article, are State Sens. Adam Driggs, Steve Pierce and Bob Worsley, who formally requested in writing that Brewer to use her pen for negation. (Their rhetoric still slants to the right, blaming "
mischaracterization" of the bill by opponents, but the net effect--pressuring Brewer to refuse to sign--remains the same.)
It appears that some of those with their ears closest to the ground detect the plates shifting.
