Lady Of The Harbor by Joe Jencks
I saw these guys last night. They sang so beautifully that I didn't even realize the strength in their lyrics. When I attended a songwriter's workshop this morning I heard Joe sing it again and discuss it. Really timely. Listen twice.
I liked it so much I sang harmony from the audience.

In The Name Of Love by Greg Greenway
Greg told us the story of writing this song. He had visited the Civil Rights Museum and it brought back so many strong memories that just wouldn't leave him and he was driven to write about it. It took him a year but I think we can all agree that it was worth it.
He closed the songwriters workshop with this one. They are one of the top touring folk groups in the country today. When they come to your town go see them. Fantastic vocal harmonies and under that, real depth.
Thanks,
Hairy Larry
