Standard disclaimer: Leave your loathing of meta, World of Warcraft, or community diaries outside. If you think we should be playing your MMO instead, start a guild and write a recruitment diary. Don't leave a comment here and then get all hurtful when it isn't received with flowers and candy. This goes double for people coming in to attack guildies over other diaries or comments - STAY OUT! Link to your recruitment diary is OK though. |
Standard advertisement: Wreck List is the Daily Kos World of Warcraft guild. We are Horde-side on the Garrosh server. To join, read this diary and visit the Guild web site to put in an application. Yes, you have to be Horde. No, you don't have to be hardcore - casuals, PvPers, and people that just want to hang out on guild chat are all welcome. |
More below the fold:
Didn't get any raid reports this week, although I do know that Team Z downed Malkorok. Another one bites the dust!
I wanted to show y'all some updates from the new models coming out next expansion. First up, the female draenei:
Daughters of Argus
My first thought was that her posture was much more normal and less spinal pain-inducing, until I got to the part where they mention that she hadn't been rigged or animated yet.
So, there you go.
Next up is the male Tauren:
Running of the Bulls
They really go into the animation process with this article, with a video showing the old and new animations side-by-side and detailing the facial rigging and expressions on the new model.
For anyone interested in character design and game animation, the Artcraft articles are a good look behind-the-scenes at Blizzard.
That's what I have this week. For the Horde!
