Boehner's tweet admitting Supreme Court's Birth Control ruling was not based on Constitutional law
John A. Boehner
Speaker of the House
Congress of the United States
Washington, DC 20515
Dear Boehner,
In your tweet (above) you admit that the US Supreme Court's Birth Control ruling was not based on Constitutional law but rather, the majority of old men on the Court relied solely on their personal, conservative interpretation of a 1993 federal law. And it seems Rush Limpballs -- err ... Limbaugh agrees with you:
RUSH: "This is not a constitutional law case. The Hobby Lobby ruling involves statutory law, and it was a law"
Nice to know that even orange-colored drunkards and hatemongers on radio acknowledge that SCOTUS' birth control ruling was not founded on Constitutional law.
Shorter: nice to know that you & conservative hatemongers acknowledge the US Constitution does not support the SCOTUS anti-birth control ruling.
By the way, I also want to thank you, John Boehner, for admitting that the Republican party is the party of Anti-Birth Control. I could not care less what your personal, out-dated vision of birth control is, however, I think it is very important that you are letting all women and men know that the GOP are against women's use of, and men's reliance on, birth control.
That said, I do have a few questions for you:
1) Why do make time to tweet all day but make no time to pass immigration reform?
2) Does the fact that you tweet all day have anything to do with your inability to figure out why you're suing President Obama?
(By the way, Boehner, did you know that President Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation was an Executive Order.)
3) Can you explain why you & the GOP demonize the children who recently came to America seeking refuge but you & the GOP supported the Iraq war that caused over 4 million Iraqis to become refugees in other countries around the world?
Oh, and finally,
4) Do you yet understand the term: GOP War on Women?
(see GOP's anti-birth control stance before answering.)
Respectfully submitted,
Woman against ==> Anti-Birth Control GOP
Short list of GOP anti-birth control stance:
Mike Huckabee thinks women cannot "control their libido" & force helpless men to have sex:
MIKE HUCKABEE (R) "..if the Democrats want to insult the women of America by making them believe that they are helpless without Uncle Sugar coming in and providing for them a prescription each month for birth control because they cannot control their libido or their reproductive system without the help of the government, then so be it ..."
Rick Santorum describes the "dangers" of contraception"
RICK SANTORUM (R):"One of the things I will talk about, that no president has talked about before, is I think the dangers of contraception in this country ... Many of the Christian faith have said, well, that's okay, contraception is okay. It's not okay. It's a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be."
Rick Santorum also said, in 2005, that
Griswold v. Connecticut was wrongly because, Santorum believes, the
state government has the right to regulate the use of birth control even among married couples ... married couples!
SANTORUM: “The state has a right to do that [ban birth control for married couples], I have never questioned that the state has a right to do that. It is not a constitutional right, the state has the right to pass whatever statues they have. That is the thing I have said about the activism of the Supreme Court, they are creating rights, and they should be left up to the people to decide."
Pat Buchanan highlights GOP Anti-Birth Control position:
PAT BUCHANAN (R) "Artificial birth control is unnatural and immoral."
Mitt Romney shows us that not only is GOP anti-birth control they're anti-Planned Parenthood:
MITT ROMNEY (R): "Planned Parenthood, we're going to get rid of that."
Republican Alaska State Senator Pete Kelly implies birth control is for loose women:
PETE KELLY (R): “Birth control is for people who don’t necessary want to act responsibly.”
Republican New Hampshire state lawmaker Jeanine Notter said Birth Control Causes Prostate Cancer in
men ...
men!
REP NOTTER (R): “As a man, would it interest you to know that Dr. Brownstein just published an article that links the pill to prostate cancer? Women take the pill and it’s in their bodies — I’m very anti-chemical — and the men pick it up,”
Most recently, Louisiana Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy co-sponsored "Abstinence Only" Legislation only to realize, first hand, that teaching abstinence only does not prevent his teen pregnancy when he chose to announce his 17 year old daughter got pregnant out of wedlock.
H.R.718 -- Abstinence Education Reallocation Act of 2013
(a), sexual risk avoidance education shall meet each of the following:
...
(4) The context for all sexual health education shall be teaching the skills and benefits of sexual abstinence as the optimal sexual health behavior for youth.
(5) The education shall include, consistent with paragraphs (1) through (4), teaching of each of the following:
(A) ... refraining from nonmarital sexual activity...

Foster Fries ... well ... he's just a rightwinged nutjob, like the rest:
FOSTER FRIES (R): “Back in my day, they used Bayer Aspirin for contraception. The gals put it between their knees.”
And let's not forget the
Republican Personhood Pledge that would ban the most commonly-used forms of contraception such as the Pill and IUDs and stem cell research.
Excerpts from: Republican Personhood Pledge
I believe that in order to properly protect the right to life of the vulnerable among us, every human being at every stage of development must be recognized as a person possessing the right to life in federal and state laws without exception and without compromise. I recognize that in cases where a mother’s life is at risk, every effort should be made to save the baby’s life as well; leaving the death of an innocent child as an unintended tragedy rather than an intentional killing.
I oppose assisted suicide, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, and procedures that intentionally destroy developing human beings.
I pledge to the American people that I will defend all innocent human life. Abortion and the intentional killing of an innocent human being are always wrong and should be prohibited.
If elected President, I will work to advance state and federal laws and amendments that recognize the unalienable right to life of all human beings as persons at every stage of development, and to the best of my knowledge, I will only appoint federal judges and relevant officials who will uphold and enforce state and federal laws recognizing that all human beings at every stage of development are persons with the unalienable right to life.

Not only are the GOP the anti-birth control party, they're also complete wack jobs.
John Boehner's 2014 election year political stunt.
