Somebody in Missouri with the authority to do so needs to immediately relieve Ferguson, MO Police Chief Thomas Jackson from duty for gross obfuscation of justice in an effort to incite violence for the eventual obstruction of Michael Brown's justice.
That's the only conclusion I'm able to reach about Jackson releasing reports that name Michael Brown as the strong-arm cigar thief.
He wants the protests to get violent.
He wants the occupying military-police to be redeployed.
Chief Thomas Jackson wants anything that will distract public opinion from the fact that one of his white cops unloaded several bullets into an unarmed black man until he was dead.
According to Chief Jackson:
"The initial contact between Darren Wilson and Mike Brown was not related to the alleged theft of cigars," and the officer who killed Michael Brown only stopped the two teens "because they were walking down the middle of the street, blocking traffic."
That is the only thing relevant to the investigation into what transpired between Officer Wilson and Michael Brown that resulted in the latter's death from multiple gun shot wounds less than two minutes after initial contact was made.
All that other crap about a strong-arm cigar thief, and what merchandise was allegedly found on Michael Brown's dead person, according to Chief Jackson, is obfuscation to a dangerous extreme, and a blatant attempt to incite violence.
As best as I can tell, here are Missouri municipal and state officials with the most immediate authority to remove Chief Thomas Jackson from command:
Mayor James Knowles III
City of Ferguson
110 Church St.
Ferguson, MO 63135
314-521-7721
Charles Dooley
County Executive, St. Louis County
Governor Jay Nixon
P.O. Box 720
Jefferson City, MO 65102
(573) 751-3222
It's way past time for you to "pursue other opportunities," Mr. Jackson. I have no doubt you'd make an excellent "Law Officer Analyst" at Foxnews.
[edited for typos, removal of St. Louis Mayor Slay, addition of St. Louis County Executive Charles Dooley]
